ALGERIA CAMP
A Bucket and a Dream Basketball Camp took place in Algiers on December 27, 2022, at the Cheraga Gym. This remarkable event brought together over 30 elite players from across the country. The camp was under the expert guidance of Mounir Benzegala, the Founder of 'A Bucket and a Dream,' and saw active participation from the entire Algerian community.
An exciting highlight of the camp was the presence of the esteemed former international football player, Madjid Bougherra, who graced us with his presence. Moreover, we are delighted to announce that one of our own, Mahrez Karabi, a member of the national basketball team, has been awarded a scholarship to pursue both his academic and basketball endeavors in the USA.
This event not only showcased exceptional basketball talent but also underscored the commitment of 'A Bucket and a Dream' to empower young athletes to reach their full potential, both on and off the court
MOROCCO CAMP
Highlights from our collaboration in Morocco with ASC Basketball! We had the honor of hosting Tihon Johnson, a global Basketball ambassador with extensive experience. He's played on multiple continents and had a significant impact on the Columbus, Ohio Basketball scene. Together with Luqman Jaaber and Menawer Djellali , they scouted and evaluated talent in Casablanca, Morocco, seeking promising players for U.S. scholarships. Thank you for your expertise
DALLAS CAMP
Reviewing our inaugural international group camp in Dallas, Texas. We welcomed a dedicated group of participants who were fully prepared. The camp was held at Loyalty College Prep and expertly directed by Adeel Sahib Zada. Special thanks to our supporting staff, Coach Haji and Mohamed Aboudi
